About Us
Our History
The company was founded by Tim Robinson and Martin Bass in 2018 as they could see that drones held the potential to be integral to shaping the future of many industries. Slowly building up service products, training courses and fleet capabilities Drone-wise is now in a position to offer a wide range of services. Drone-wise operates under Morrison Aerial Robotics (MAR) run by John Morrison in Sydney. John is a very experienced aviator and has a major focus on designing and using drones. MAR has supported Drone-wise from the beginning and is an important part of our commitment to safety, professionalism and results.
Our Vision
We pride ourselves on high quality deliverables and a genuine and collaborative approach with our clients. No job in aerial sensing and drone flying is ever the same so flexibility, safety and professionalism are the three pillars on which we've built our company. Working to improve our future is a core belief for us, whether that's helping guide precision agriculture or replacing people working at heights. We aim to leave our planet better than we found it.
Capability
Our fleet currently includes multi-spectral, thermal and RGB imaging cameras. This allows us to collect data in a very wide range of applications across different industries and sectors.

We're also fully licenced to fly rotary drones up to 25kg giving us even more capability if your situation requires it.

Arial sensing as a whole is still establishing itself as an industry, which means there may be undiscovered applications that have yet to be explored. With this in mind, we are always interested in collaborative experimentation and exploration of new possibilities.
Our Team
Tim Robinson
Co-founder and avid UAV pilot, Tim discovered that there was more to drones than just their preconception as toys. Harnessing drone technology for a better future is what keeps Tim exploring new and exciting opportunities.
Martin Bass
Co-founder with Tim, Martin's background in aviation, predominantly with rotary aircraft, gives him a unique perspective when exploring the limitations and usability of UAV applications. With multiple flying qualifications and many years in management consulting and drone services delivery, Martin is committed to using drones for better environmental and social outcomes.
Luke Robinson
After spending over 10 years in a customer focussed roll Luke has grown to understand and deliver exceptional customer service and develop strong business relationships. A recently acquired Remote Pilot Licence means he will be flying right alongside the Drone-wise team.
